Remote Shutter Release

Shutter release remotes are just what they're called, they're remotes that release your shutter. These remotes are great for night photography, photographing with long exposures and self portraits.

Of course, you can always use the self timer on your camera for self portraits, but what if you miscalculate the timing? Might as well just get the remote! Save yourself the hassle of retaking your self portraits due to your inability to time correctly. (This is directed at myself =/)

Say you're using the bulb setting. Say you need to use an extremely long exposure. You don't want to keep your finger on the shutter release that long. What if your finger slips? What if you're out in the cold? A shutter release remote can answer these questions.

Shutter release remotes come in two forms: wireless and cable.
